Pequannock UNICO board members Dan Leyva and Keith Capobianco recently presented a $150 check to Stephanie Lajam of the Riverdale-based Push To Walk, a nonprofit that provides physical therapy for those who have suffered spinal cord injuries.

UNICO is a service organization that celebrates those with Italian-American heritage, and regularly makes charitable contributions and provides scholarships. UNICO participated in the annual Jack O'Lantern Jamboree sponsored by Suburban Trends and Glenwild Garden Center to raise awareness for Push To Walk.
