Fresh off the success of last year’s historic boxing matches between Pittsburgh and Cuba, the Hibernian Celtic Athletic Fund will be among the sponsors of an Oct. 9 program involving some of Italy’s finest young boxers at the Priory on Pittsburgh’s North Side.
“This is another chance for them (local young boxers) to fight on a big stage against some of the best fighters in Italy,” said Michael Diven of the Hibernian Celtic Athletic Fund, which was created by members of the Ancient Order of Hibernians.
