We are Pursuing Our Italian Names Together, Chapter 22. We are also known as and the Italian Family History Club at the Italian Community Center and Milwaukee County Genealogical Society's Italian Area Interest Group. Our next meeting will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2016, at the Italian Community Center, 631 E. Chicago Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, starting at 10:00 a.m. and concluding at noon.

At our meeting, we will update each other on new developments in genealogy, update progress in our research, continue to discuss using DNA in our research and we will offer suggestions to help one another overcome brick walls. Ancestry announced that, Family Tree Maker will not be updated and that support will end in about 1 year. We will discuss the impact on members and what software would be the best to replace Family Tree Maker. We will also discuss plans for our display for Festa Italiana 2016. Festa Italiana will be July 22, 23 and 24. The featured region will be Umbria.

Our next meeting after this event will be held on January 16, 2016, at the Italian Community Center, 631 E. Chicago Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, starting at 10:00 a.m. and concluding at noon.

Our other 2016 meetings will be Saturdays, April 23, September 24 and November 12, 2016, at the Italian Community Center, 631 E. Chicago Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, starting at 10:00 a.m. and concluding at noon.

Please feel free to bring guests. We welcome anyone with an interest in Italian Family History. If you have friends that research other nationalities, they are also welcome. The process of genealogy research is similar for all nationalities.
