Hon. Richard M. Marano, beloved husband of Eileen N. (Barry) Marano, and devoted father of Michelle, Richard Jr. and Christine Marano, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 20, 2017, at his home. Besides his wife, and his children, he leaves to cherish his memory two brothers, Albert R. Marano M.D. and his wife, Ellen, of Watertown, John D. Marano and his wife, Denise, of Waterbury, and several nieces and nephews.
Judge Marano was born in Waterbury on June 22, 1960, son of the late Albert N. and Angeline (Viotti) Marano, and he was a graduate of Fairfield University and Seton Hall University School of Law. He was assigned to the Superior Court in the Danbury Judicial District, presiding over criminal matters.
