Rosewood bags deal to transform Rome’s historical State Mint into a luxury hotel

The historic State Printing Office and Mint building at Piazza Verdi in Rome will become a luxury hotel managed by Rosewood Hotels and Resorts International Limited, a subsidiary of New World China Land Ltd. said Cassa Depositi e Prestiti in a statement yesterday.

The letter of intent between Residenziale Immobiliare 2004 S.p.A. - 75% controlled by Cdp Immobiliare (part of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti) and 25% owned by Fratini's Finprema S.p.A. - and Rosewood group, was signed last Friday.
