Con la quinta vittoria consecutiva stagionale arriva la terza Coppa del Mondo consecutiva di sci di velocità per Valentina Greggio, già medaglia d'oro al Mondiale in questa stagione, e sostanzialmente inattaccabile dalla concorrenza.
Anche oggi, a Grandvalira (Andorra), Greggio ha messo a segno la migliore velocità fra le donne con 188,79 km/h, precedendo di oltre 2 km/h la svedese Britta Backlund e la francese Celia Martinez, rispettivamente seconda e terza anche nella generale, ma non più in grado di acciuffare la verbanese. Nell'assoluta, Greggio sale infatti a quota 500 contro i 330 di Becklund e i 310 di Martinez, a una gara dal termine del circuito.
