Giovanni Formisano's most recent roles include The Young Gypsy in "Aleko" by S. Rachmaninoff with the Commonwealth Lyric Theater, Camille in F. Lehar's "The Merry Widow" with Opera Providence and Rodolfo in G. Puccini's "La Boheme" with Boston Opera Collaborative. His past performances include Amherst College, Center City Opera in Philadelphia, Opera del West, Commonwealth Opera, Lowell House Opera, Connecticut Grand Opera, Cape Cod Opera and the Longy School of Music. Mr. Formisano also has participated in the Key West Symphony program and the New York Summer Opera Scenes.
Leonardo Ciampa - a composer, pianist and organist - is acknowledged as a musician of supreme gifts and extraordinary versatility. He is the founding director of the MetroWest Choral Artists and Honorary Music Director of the Basilica di Sant'Ubaldo in Gubbio, Italy. Until recently, he was artistic director of organ concerts at MIT (2009-2016). As an organ recitalist, Ciampa has made a dozen European tours encompassing Italy, Austria, Germany and Switzerland. He is particularly admired in Italy, where he has played in numerous international festivals.
