What's up with WTI: Editorial # 77

Mar 18, 2016 263

Ciao from Rome! Welcome to the 77th issue of our online magazine. What a wonderful trip I did, visiting 9 cities but most of all 10 different sparkling beautiful Italian communities presenting my book "We the Italians. Two flags, One heart. One hundred interviews" (available here http://goo.gl/f2wBha). What a terrific wave of passion for Italy, of love for our country, and of enthusiasm for We the Italians! I don't know how to thank all who attended the presentations. Hundreds and hundreds of friends who listened to the presentation, bought the book, asked questions and confirmed how much is true that we really have two flags and one heart. Please, check out a brief video about the book, here.

First of all, I want to thank those who were the organizers of the presentations: friends, before anything else. Gina Biancardi and Marian Rodi in Staten Island, NY; Tiziana Ciacciofera, Andrea Duchini and Francesca Behr in Houston, TX; Maria Berry in Albuquerque, NM; Ed Bevilacqua in Las Vegas, NV; Stefano Radio in Kansas City, MO; Sandra Tornberg in Detroit, MI; Emanuele Pettener and Ilaria Serra in Boca Raton, FL; Gianluca Fontani in Miami, FL; Frank Maselli in New Orleans, LA; Joseph Scelsa in Manhattan, NY.

Some of them are also interviewees who came as speakers at the presentations: but I had the honour of having guests other leaders who are in the book: Rossella Rago and Aldo Mancusi in Staten Island; Brando Ballerini in Houston (and later I met Elena Sgarbi); Rosalba Maniaci in Albuquerque; Gino Serra in Kansas City; Maria Luisa Lapresa, Jennifer Baross and Jack Johnson in Detroit; Sally Valenti in Boca Raton; Stephen Briganti, Laura Caparrotti, Maria Teresa Cometto, Annalisa Liuzzo, and Berardo Paradiso in New York. I am so lucky, thanks thanks thanks!!
