The producers of A Bronx Tale — The Musical announced that they will make a donation of $4 for every ticket sold to performances from January 16-21 through the Child Reach Foundation to help families affected by the fire that burned through an apartment building in the Belmont neighborhood of the Bronx on December 28, 2017. It was the deadliest fire in New York City in the past 25 years, killing 13.
"The location of this fire was my childhood neighborhood," said producer Tommy Mottola in a statement. "It was home for me! I actually had relatives that lived in that building, so it was devastating to see these victims go through such a horrible tragedy."
