What's up with WTI: Editorial # 108

Ciao from Rome, welcome to the #108 magazine of We the Italians! First of all, Happy Italian Heritage Month!

On September 26, We the Italians organized an interesting event in Rome at Centro Studi Americani, the most important Italian location for those who are interested in the United States. In the presence of the author and director, Roberto Angotti, we attended the screening of the documentary "Italian American Baseball Family", winner of the Russo Brothers Italian American Film Forum Award 2017. After the screening, there was a debate with me, Roberto, Stefano Luconi (Professor of Contemporary History at the University of Genoa) and Marco Landi (Head of Communication and Marketing of the Italian Federation of Baseball and Softball) .Another great celebration of the Italian American community organized by We the Italians here in Italy!

As many of you already know, RAI Italia's tv show dedicated to the Italians abroad has been completely renewed. A new television studio, a new duration, a new name (now it’s called "L'Italia per voi") and a new smart and beautiful host, Monica Marangoni. We the Italians had the pleasure of being a guest at the third episode, which aired on October 10. For those who missed it, here you can watch the episode online: we are at minute 41.

Our magazine has a new column, and the We the Italians family has a new member! Please welcome Chiara Paolinelli, brilliant young Italian in Los Angeles, who from this issue will tell us about Italian Innovation. We are very pleased to have this column in our magazine, because the excellent Italy that we want to tell is not only directed backwards to the exceptional past of our country, but also towards the present and the future of the Italian genius that never ceases to amaze. Thanks to Chiara who will help us every month to learn more about this!

Once again, we encourage you to take a look at the 2017 Yearbook of We the Italians. It's selling very well, plenty of people interested in knowing the stories we told last year. So thanks, and please keep buying that, here

Please, join us in our social media presence: Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube!
