
Join us for an engaging presentation by Roberto Taroni and Annamaria Martena, currently Artists in Residence at the Headlands Center for the Arts in Sausalito. On the occasion of their visit, SF Cinematheque and Yerba Buena Center for the Arts will host a retrospective of their films on Friday, July 6, at the YBCA auditorium. The artist duo will give a presentation of their work at the Institute on Thursday, July 12.
Roberto and Annamaria, founders of the Berlin/Milan artist collective Flatform, will present collaborative video works at the Italian Cultural Institute SF exploring the state of classical landscape representation in the age of digital reproduction, and showcasing materials that brought to life the projects undertaken while Artists in Residence at the Headlands Center for the Arts.
