
The Italian American Heritage Club of Sussex County Delaware presented the Cape Henlopen Food Basket with a $500 donation, along with food donations from club members. Mark Sievers, vice president of the Cape Henlopen Food Basket, was guest speaker at a recent club dinner and explained the organization’s purpose is to provide food to Delaware individuals and families in need.
The Cape Henlopen Food Basket has been in operation since October 2002 and is an all-volunteer organization consisting of 85 members. The Italian American Heritage Club of Sussex County Delaware is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote and share an appreciation and awareness of the Italian American culture and heritage.
