The 37th annual Undo’s Upper Ohio Valley Italian Heritage Festival Media Night was held at the McLure Hotel Ballroom on Wednesday evening. Students received scholarships, sponsors were recognized, and the Italian Americans of the Year were named -- Tom Triveri and Tony Polsinelli.
“I’m extremely honored after being here for 51 years that finally they recognized me,” said Polsinelli, who was born and raised in Italy and came over in 1968. “I was a poor fella (looking to) find something better, and I found a home here in the United States. I have been serving on the board for as long as the festival has been in existence. I’ve always been involved with the festival with the Sons of Italy, and I’m extremely proud.”
