Another in a line-up of what seems like unending cancellations has been confirmed. What would have been the Fourteenth Annual UNICO Italian-American Feast has been canceled this year according to organizers. “It is kind of upsetting that we can’t have it, it’s disappointing,” said Joseph Arancio, President of the Clark Chapter of UNICO.
“This is our biggest and really only fundraiser of the year, not having it is going to cut into what we are able to do in donations and charity.” Clark Recreation Director and UNICO Vice President Ralph Bernardo said crowd sizes that gather at the feast would most likely not work under current state guidelines. “Even without that (crowd) restriction, we weren’t sure we could get volunteers or that people would even come to an event yet”.
