It was a day of celebration, culture, music and great food as Glassboro presented its annual St. Anthony’s Italian Heritage Festival on Saturday along Rowan Boulevard. The festival featured Italian food, a beer garden, cultural presentations, live music and carnival games.
Special events included a homemade wine competition and a cannoli eating contest. The festival kicked off with a procession from St. Anthony’s Mutual Aid Society, located on Church Street, to Rowan Boulevard. The procession featured the St. Anthony’s statue, which was decorated with flowers and carried by club members as traditional Italian music was performed.
