The Nassau County executive hopeful on Wednesday said he'd yank the anti-Tom Suozzi spot, which drew a sharp rebuke from the country's biggest Italian heritage group for unabashedly using spaghetti-slurping stereotypes.
"I apologize to anyone who has been offended," Haber, who's up against Suozzi in a Democratic primary, said in a campaign statement. "As a candidate and county executive, I will always strive to listen to the concerns of all Nassau residents and I hope we can get back to the issues as quickly as possible."
