The Ulster County Italian American Foundation will present a special mini-festival at TechCity on Sunday, Oct. 11. The drive-in festival will begin at 6:15 p.m. and reservations are required. Local dignitaries will honor Dr. John Ioia and Linda Saccoman as the 2020 Signore and Signora of the Year. Ioia is chairman of the foundation's By-Laws Committee and Saccoman is the chairwoman of the Cultural Committee.
The format of the annual festival is being altered due to the restrictions from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The event at TechCity on Enterprise Drive in the town of Ulster will close out with a screening of the movie "My Cousin Vinny." During the event, attendees will be allowed to bring their own food or take advantage of three food options. Tickets will be sold to benefit The Oncology Support Group at the Runer House.
