Thursday November 7, 7:00 pm. Westchester Italian Cultural Institute, One Generoso Pope Place, Tuckahoe, NY. Admission: Members $20; Non-Members $25. Contact: 914-771-8700 http://www.wiccny.org Come discover the Alpine paradise of northeast Italy, a land kissed by the southern Mediterranean sun and embraced by the breathtaking Dolomite Mountains.

Il Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy's most "Nordic" region, offers a stunning backdrop of dramatic peaks, lush green valleys, crystal-clear lakes, medieval fortresses, unspoiled mountain villages, and a vibrant Italian-German culture. In addition to exploring the region's medieval towns and cities, trace the area's geological and historical development from the actual birth of the Italian peninsula and the Alps to the region's disputed political ownership in the last century.

A special final "stop" will bring all to the "perla delle Dolomiti", il Lago di Braies, certain to enchant you with its hypnotic natural beauty and its ethereal serenity. Presented by Joseph Spedaliere.
