Over-the-top Italian fashion line Dolce & Gabbana showed off 103 looks at a Rainbow Room menswear show on Saturday as Liza Minnelli performed and an army of VIP clients, celebs and glamour ghouls were on the scene. Designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbanatook over New York with a weekend of shows at iconic Manhattan sites including the New York Public Library and Metropolitan Opera (attended by Catherine Zeta-Jones, left).
Vogue called attendees “the international ultra-spenders.” Said one guest at the Rainbow Room extravaganza — where women in gold satin bunny outfits circulated and pasta was served from a station — “It felt like being on a European cruise line.”
