Misconceptions of Columbus Debunked - Italian American Lecture

Oct 03, 2018 1005

Thursday October 11, from 7PM to 9PM EDT. Italian Charities of America - 83-20 Queens Blvd, Elmhurst, New York 11373. As part of our Italian American Month Lecture Series we welcome our guest speaker Louis Gallo. Louis Gallo is a former history teacher and has held positions on many organizations, lodge offices and committees. Louis Gallo will take each popular charge against Columbus and debunk it with hard data and historical information from his years of studying and researching the life of Columbus.

Louis Gallo has made it his mission to search the truth and has been in contact with authors which have written positive length works on Columbus. As many are aware there are many detractors and wrongful information. Come with an open mind and make your conclusions on this topic. Refreshments will be served. Donation $5.00

Italian Charities of America is proud to debut its first ever Italian American Lecture Series. Please join us in celebrating both Italian American Heritage Month this October and the kickoff of our new Lecture Series program. Italian Charities of America is proud to highlight all the Italian American guest speakers for all the hard work they do to educate on Italian American heritage and to tell their personal Italian American stories. We thank them in helping with our mission to preserve and promote Italian American culture, heritage, history and achievements in America. Our Lecture Series program will be offered every Fall and Spring. All members and non members are welcome to attend.
