Rochester's Little Italy Historic District (an official city neighborhood and nationally-recognized historic Italian American enclave) will celebrate its 4th Anniversary this Friday, June 2nd, 2023, at noon at Rocky's Italian Restaurant on Jay Street (one of our neighborhood's most iconic and historic Italian American owned businesses.)
The Little Italy neighborhood was originally designated by Rochester City Council proclamation (the city's main legislative body) on June 2nd, 2019. The Little Italy Neighborhood has since then also obtained national recognition as a "historic Italian American enclave".
A free slice of delicious Italian rum cake made by Etna Pastry Shoppe in Gates will be offered by Little Italy and its Founder, Silvano Orsi, at Rocky's at Noon on June 2nd, 2023, while supplies last. (Note: Lunch is not included but may be purchased as normal by restaurant patrons.)
All are welcome. You're invited!
