Astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti will be featured in a virtual program supported by the International Women’s Air & Space Museum and Loganberry Books. Cristoforetti, who is part of the European Space Agency, has written “Diary of an Apprentice Astronaut.” The Zoom program is set for 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 17.
Cristoforetti, selected in the 2009 ESA astronaut class, is scheduled to launch aboard the SpaceX Crew-4 mission this spring. She will become the first ESA female commander of the International Space Station.
