The Orange/West Orange UNICO (O/WO UNICO) Chapter was not able to hold an in-person scholarship dinner for the second year in a row. However, that did not prevent the Chapter from awarding nearly $20,000 in scholarships to local high school students from West Orange High School (WOHS) and Seton Hall Prep (SHP) for the second year in a row.
Local scholarships in the amount of $1,500 were awarded to WOHS students based on their academic achievement, high school extra-curricular activities, community service and work experience. The students were selected by a committee of members which was chaired by O/WO UNICO Scholarship Chairman, Frank V. Gonnella as well as faculty of WOHS and SHP.
