Italian Immersion Day (Student Culture Day) 2017 was a huge success! Kids enjoyed themselves immensely! Thanks to all who sponsored this event and volunteered to make this day possible! WisItalia's very own Lucia Soldati is our newest addition to this fabulous event! Grazie Mille!
Our visiting school was Academy of Accelerated Learning from Milwaukee Public Schools. Students had attended five sessions: Italian Language, History of Italians in Milwaukee, Pasta Making, Bocce, and and Ellis Island Experience. If you would like to be part of this event by volunteering or sponsorship please contact Gina Jorgensen at [email protected]. If you are a teacher of 5-6th grade students and would like to bring your school in the future, again contact Gina Jorgensen!
