I want to call your attention to a fantastic Italian chef and food writer in Portland, who not only excels at the art of cooking itself, but also at promoting the Italian cuisine through new media. Grazia Solazzi grew up in Northern Italy (Asola) and learned cooking directly from her family members, who donned the dinner table with both strong Southern flavors and Northern meat and filled pasta recipes.
She moved to Portland in 2001 and now, while raising a family of three kids, she maintains a blog, Cook with Grazia, where you can find authentic Italian recipes complete with nuanced instructions and beautiful photos. Hungry yet? Try this awesome recipe for fettuccine alfredo.
