Join us for the next Free Talk: Hidden Gems of Italy on November 2, 2019 from 2:00pm – 3:00pm at Scuola Italiana di Portland, 1542 NW 14th Ave, Portland, OR 97209. Alessandra, Scuola Italiana Board President and owner of Customized Journeys, will share with us her perspective on the geographic, political and cultural diversity that makes Italy so fascinating as well as what it means to provide sustainable tourism in these off-the beaten path destinations of Italy.
Born in Genoa, Italy, Alessandra was raised to be a world traveler. Her father, an active mountaineer from Piedmont, made sure that Alessandra grew up with a passion for nature, and knowledge of the Italian and French Alps. Her mother, heiress to the historical Central Italian palace Palazzo Ranghiasci, instilled in Alessandra a profound love of European arts and culture.
