Guerneville has a new option for beef and hot dogs: 3 Alarm Grill, just opened next door to Big Bottom market and café on Main Street.
The Grill specializes in the classic Chicago dog, and Italian beef sandwiches. Tiny and crisp in black, white and red, the Midwestern style shop is the work of longtime Guerneville vacation homeowners and San Francisco Police Department members Chuck Limbert and John Stephens. Limbert recently retired, and decided his future was in French fries, hand cut and seasoned with smoked salt and herbs.
