Happiness is a neighborhood Italian restaurant (just ask Billy Joel) that you can always count on to provide familiar fare, fresh ingredients and pizza dough that brings back memories of growing up Jewish in an Italian neighborhood where your nose remembers the aromas of yesteryear.
As you step into Milano’s Pizza & Italian Restaurant in Hemet, you can smell the garlic bread baking in the oven and the addictive aromas of Wisconsin mozzarella, Italian sausage and homemade meatballs wafting through the air. The fact that calzones, sausage rolls and strombolis also are on the menu only enhance the memories of the East Coast southern Italian fare that I knew and loved.
