Pasquetti's opens with Italian favorites

If you have been wondering how to pronounce the name of the new restaurant on West Jefferson Boulevard – the one with the red, white and green paint job – I have a tip. Think about how a 4-year-old might pronounce "spaghetti" and you will get "Pasquetti's." Pasquetti's Italian Steakhouse opened this week in the building that was once a Wendy's location, near the West Jefferson Boulevard and Illinois Road split.

The restaurant, which is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily, serves authentic Italian favorites such as carbonara (a pasta dish of linguini, proscuitto and parmensan cheese that is finished with a farm-fresh egg); tutto di mare (linguini, jumbo shrimp, diver scallops, crab and mussels in a garlic butter sauce); and parmesan entree variations, including eggplant, chicken and veal.
