Sbarro has opened its newest restaurant in Cabazon, California. Located in the food court in southwestern section of Desert Hills Premium Outlets, the restaurant brand brings its Italian flavors to the luxury retail outlet center.  With 33 locations in California, this is the second Sbarro in the Palm Springs area. This marks the concept’s 13th store opening in 2019. 

Since it first opened its doors in 1956 as an Italian Salumeria in Brooklyn by Naples, Italy-born founders Gennaro and Carmela “Mama” Sbarro, the Sbarro brand has served New York-style pizza and Italian favorites in 600 restaurants and 24 countries worldwide. More than 60 years later, the franchise can be found in retail spaces such as malls, casinos, airports, universities, and travel plazas.
