A new Italian spot has debuted in the neighborhood. The fresh arrival to Hyde Park, called Ascione Bistro, is located at 1500 E. 55th St. Ascione Bistro serves up pasta, Italian entrees, appetizers and sides, with menu items ranging from linguine to salmon to grilled octopus.

With a 4.5-star rating out of 16 reviews on Yelp so far, Ascione Bistro seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood. Yelper May Y. said, “Food is phenomenal. Don't forget to get beet salad with Bronzino, which is my favorite so far. Server [was] very attentive and friendly. I would definitely recommend here. I will come back for sure."
