Kansas City is getting a new taste of the Mediterranean. Ragazza owner Laura Norris and her brother, Grant Norris, co-manager of the Midtown Italian restaurant and wine bar, plan to open Enzo Bistro and Wine Bar next spring in City Market at Fifth and Walnut streets. Enzo will serve a diverse menu of Mediterranean dishes and wines at one of the neighborhood’s most-coveted spots, which was recently vacated by Bo Lings.
“I love the history and historic character of the City Market," Laura says. "I have been drawn to the area since I was a kid. I lived down there when I was younger and loved the walkability and how it comes alive when the market merchants are present. I always wished it had a better nighttime scene. So I am happy to join with the other businesses to develop a vibrant evening vibe.”
