The annual 4-H International Tasting Tea will feature a taste of Italy this year at the Martin and Osa Johnson Safari Museum. The featured country is inspired by Beatrice Di Cristina, an exchange student from Italy staying with the Kim Umbarger family.
Di Cristina is from Perugia, a city about two hours north of Rome. She said one of the biggest cultural differences is how people get around. "We walk a lot and we use public transportation," she said. In Chanute, at least, Cristina said people use a car for everything.
