Indian Creek Mall in Beatrice will soon have a new restaurant. Sam and Louie's New York Pizzeria has been sold and will transition into a new Italian eatery in the near future. Florio's Italian Restaurant and Grille will replace the Sam and Louie's franchise.

More than a year ago, the original owner of Sam and Louie's moved from the community and the owner of Indian Creek Mall, Stan Meyer, took over the restaurant. "We took it over to save jobs and keep a restaurant there until we could find a buyer," Meyer said.
