Eataly brings back weekly ‘Après Ski Festival’ event in Boston

For many, a ski trip to Italy might not be within reach this winter. But Eataly, the popular Italian marketplace located in the Prudential Center in Boston, is hoping to give visitors the next best thing. The return of the “Après Ski Festival," modeled after “indulgent post-skiing festivities” in Italy, invites guests to visit Eataly for an atmosphere akin to an Italian ski resort every Thursday evening.

The event, also described as a “a weekly winter happy hour,” will offer specialty food, like polenta from the Italian Alps, rustic sausage, cheese and meats, paired with winter-themed alcoholic drinks, like the Italian vin brulé, a mulled wine from Piedmont. A live DJ will be on hand, and the company announced that for every glass of vin brulé sold, $1 will be donated to No Kid Hungry, an organization based in Washington D.C. that aims to end childhood hunger.
