Cristof Danzi has found his niche. “I think in all my career, these are the best customers I’ve ever had, my entire life,” Danzi says of his eponymous Fort Myers restaurant, Cristof's on McGregor. Found in a charming 1940s-era cottage with a large wrap-around porch and a lush patio fronting historic McGregor Boulevard, the 8-year-old Cristof's has become the place to power lunch.
Business leaders and politicians often request dining in the private room off the bar, to which Danzi says with a knowing grin: “What happens at Cristof’s stays at Cristof’s.” The rest of the restaurant is open yet carefully sectioned, including some high-back booths, all offering intimacy, regardless with whom you are eating.
