From makeup to meatballs: Pensacola woman switches gears mid-pandemic to open food truck

People like Brittany Rappise, a Pensacola makeup artist-turned-food truck operator, have shown that one thin silver lining to shine through during the COVID-19 pandemic is the perseverance of the human spirit. 

Like so many others at this time last year, Rappise's world caved in when everything shut down. As a traveling theatrical wig and makeup designer, Rappise worked for regional theater and opera companies all over the country. Pensacola is her home, so working for the Pensacola Opera was her most prominent gig.
