Five metro-Phoenix restaurants have joined the list of local favorites that have been featured on Food Network's "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives."
On Friday, Feb. 27, host Guy Fieri "stops by a mom and pop pizza shop firing up pies topped with everything from baked ziti to chicken marsala," according to the "Roadtrippin'" episode description. That restaurant is Sal's Gilbert Pizza, a New York-style pizzeria at Gilbert and Warner roads.
