This now historical event has been held in early autumn, between October and November, every year since 1929 in Alba in the province of Cuneo: the Alba White Truffle Fair.
This year it takes place from 11th October to 16th November and presents a series of events which are not just intended for lovers of this precious tuber, but also for fans, visitors and tourists who choose the impressive landscape of the Langhe and Roero, recently included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites, for their holidays and for a visit to the unique landscapes and flavours of these lands.
