The Foreign Ministry strongly welcomes the approval of Italy’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) – announced by President of the European Commission Ursula Von der Leyen, during her recent visit to Rome – to which the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation is fully committed, offering a valuable contribution that aims to further strengthen the subsidised financial tools within the framework of the Pact for Export, as a privileged platform for guiding Italian exports in line with the twofold urgent green and digital transition.
As part of the NRRP, the Foreign Ministry has promoted a new action to support exports by Italian SMEs, in this delicate phase of post-pandemic economic recovery, which envisages allocating Eur 1.2 billion to internationalisation processes.
