Un ponte di musica – Itinerari dell’Opera italiana in America (a cura di Claudio Orazi) – Zecchini Editore 2020, pp. 262 €20; in italiano con testo a fronte inglese) è un bel libro che potrebbe essere, se si è ancora in tempo, una strenna per l’Epifania tanto è elegante e ben illustrato ma che può essere in qualsiasi momento un libro di grande interesse per chi è appassionato di musica.
Il libro racconta al tempo stesso una storia ed un’avventura. La storia, articolata in otto saggi (meglio sei saggi e due «testimonianze» (di Frank Alfieri e Martin Scorsese), è quella dei percorsi dell’opera italiana nelle Americhe.
