American Association Of Teachers Of Italian Logo Competition

Oct 01, 2014 1324

AATI is looking for a creative mind to help us rethink our look by creating a brand/logo for the association. The logo should somehow represent our guiding
characteristics: "Preserve, Advance, and Promote Italian Culture" and reflect our mission: The American Association of Teachers of Italian is a professional organization of scholars worldwide who contribute to the multidisciplinary field of Italian Studies through teaching, research, and service.

Our mission is to promote, advance and preserve the study of Italian language, literature, and culture in its multiple historical and contemporary manifestations. The AATI achieves these goals by sponsoring meetings, seminars, conferences, competitions, workshops, national examinations, the National Italian Honor Society, and by publishing the quarterly journal Italica, dedicated to excellence in teaching and research in all areas of Italian studies. The AATI also collaborates with other professional organizations to accomplish its objectives.

Please keep in mind the following guidelines:
• this logo will be adopted for our stationary, title page of journal, and website (www.aati-online.org)
• the color scheme will be adopted for the website (you may want to use at least one of Italy's colors: red, white, green, blue)
• the logo will be adopted for diverse gear (pins, bags, buttons)
• it should be easily adaptable to all the above men

To participate in the logo competition, please send the completed artwork with the artist's name and contact information to Dr. Ryan Calabretta-Sajder at
[email protected] by November 1, 2014. !

Please note that the winning design will become property of the AATI and the artist will only be named.
