Yesterday, the American-Italian Cancer Foundation provided no-cost mammograms and clinical breast exams to more than 25 women at the William F. Ryan Community Health Center in Manhattan and all were treated to free pizza from Colavita, the trusted family brand.
The women who signed up received life-saving breast cancer screening services on the American-Italian Cancer Foundation's Mobile Care Clinic. Those in attendance also received a very special treat. Colavita, the leading family-owned specialty food company and producer of one of the top-selling extra virgin olive oils in the United States, brought the Colavita Cares Pizza Truck, a special vehicle outfitted with a brick oven, to the Community Health Center and cooked and served fresh pizza for those in attendance.
