Here's a match made in synth heaven (or possibly hell) — French touch masters Daft Punk are joining forces with giallo film master Dario Argento to score his next project. Argento is set to direct a new film called Occhiali Neri (or, in English, Black Glasses). The project will star his daughter, Asia Argento.
Speaking with Repubblica [via The Film Stage], Argento revealed that he'd hired Daft Punk to contribute music to the film. "They are my admirers, they know all my cinema," Argento said. "They heard from French friends that I was shooting a new film and called me [to say], 'We want to work with you.'"
