Frankie Valli not crying over Jersey Boys show closure

The Italian-American singer of hit song Big Girls Don't Cry isn't feeling emotional that the Broadway musical, based on the career of his group the Four Seasons, will soon take its final bow after a lengthy run in New York's hugely competitive theatre district.

The musical, which opened in 2005, tells the story of Valli and bandmates Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi. It features twenty Four Seasons songs, including the standout hits Sherry, Big Girls Don't Cry, Can't Take My Eyes Off You and Oh, What a Night.
