The EY BaroMed Report announced that the USA is Italy's third-largest export market and the non-EU country with the largest presence of Italian firms. Italy is in the centre of the Mediterranean region, which represents approximately 15 percent of the world's GDP, according to the Report.
The sixth summit between Italian and American entrepreneurs, bankers, financial brokers and economists is currently taking place in New York City, organised by Fernando Napolitano's IBII and Donato Iacovone's EY, in partnership with the American Chamber of Commerce in Italy. The relations between the United States and Italy represent one of the pillars supporting the future growth of the Italian economy, which has long been focused on export.
