Marrone Bio Innovations Inc. will collaborate with Italian biostimulant company Valagro SpA on development of agricultural products. Marrone develops, manufactures and markets biopesticides.

Biostimulants are microbes that aid in plant growth. Biopesticides are naturally derived products that kill plant-damaging pests or fungi. With the agreement, the two companies will share access to intellectual property, performance and formulations used in their businesses.
