Cari tutti, On behalf of the Officers and Directors of WisItalia I would like to invite you to the 2017 WisItalia Italian Language Program of the Year award event on April 2, 2017. We will be honoring St. Joseph Catholic Academy (SJCA) in Kenosha WI. At SJCA Italian is taught beginning in 7th grade through senior year of High School. AP Italian s in the planning in the next two years.
Additionally, WisItalia is honored to present Representative and Minority Leader (D) Peter Barca in the Wisconsin State Legislature with our Presidents Award. This award is presented to an individual who has significantly contributed to the teaching of the Italian Language and Culture in the K thru 12 Schools in the State of Wisconsin. Representative Barca was WisItalia’ s first President and he served in this capacity for eight years.
