This February, Slow Food International and Slow Wine Editore will release the latest English-language edition of the Slow Wine Guide, the renowned annual guide to over 500 different wineries worldwide, celebrating its 10th anniversary during the 2020 Slow Wine Tour.
The guide, born in 2010, marked a revolutionary moment in the history of Italian wine writing, when editors-in chief Giancarlo Gariglio and Fabio Giavedoni decided to abandon the score-based mentality to look beyond the technical and tasting notes of each label and dig deeper into the wines’ soul.
