Antonella, New Multimedia Work by Lisa Venticinque

Dec 13, 2019 695

Saturday December 14, 5:30-8pm. The California Building: 2205 California St NE, 55418. RSVP appreciated. Antonella is an in-depth personal portrait, an exploration of the interior world of a unique and unforgettable 62-year-old Italian woman.

This multimedia project, which contains photography, videography, audio and text, was created by Lisa Venticinque in Turin, Italy, in the summer of 2019. It was recently selected to be exhibited in Italy this past fall, and Lisa is very excited to share it with you here in Minneapolis.

Turin's famous "Aperitivo Hour" is the inspiration for this art event at Future Tense Gallery in the California Building in NE Minneapolis. It's happening on Saturday, December 14 from 5:30 - 8pm; drop in for a bit, or stay for a while. We'll have some Antipasti & Aperitivi on hand: small bites in the aperitivo style paired with the makings for a true Italian classic, the Aperol Spritz. In the spirit of amicizia (friendship), please consider bringing some wine or other favorite beverage to share-- the more, the merrier!

For more information, please contact Lisa directly: [email protected] 612.868.6864

Future Tense Gallery is located on the 3rd floor interior of a large building that will otherwise be closed. Enter at the door on the north side of the building (not the main door). There will be signs and a candle-lit path showing the way. Knock on the door and someone will let you right in. Enjoy!
